Trees play a vital role in many aspects of our lives, providing shelter, habitat, screening, privacy, food and timber. A thriving and diverse tree population can only have a positive effect on wildlife, air and water quality in London and our environmental policy has been written with these considerations at heart. In brief, we aim to operate our business in the most environmentally friendly way by:
- minimizing toxic emissions from vehicles and equipment
- discouraging unnecessary felling of trees and promoting tree care
- recycling all wood chippings and logs
At Amber Tree Care everything gets recycled where possible. All our wood chippings either go to local allotments, or sent to be processed for use in power stations. And by keeping our work local, Campbell Kidd is able to travel to all initial site visits by bicycle thus reducing unnecessary emissions.
